Animation

Edge of the Triangle

This stop motion project was photographed with Nikon D60 connected to Sofortbild app. on a macbook.

Since the video is 12 frames per second, I decided to play with the idea of frames defining time, thus the tempo, of every action. Before writing the score for the animation I calculated the beat through frames. After the visual part of the project was assembled, I wrote the score for it in Logic Pro X.

The score for the project was written by me, Guram Saqvarelidze.

The Snail (Cutout Animation)

This animation was created by me as a project for the Animation class taught by Christian Faur.

Cutout objects were scanned and edited in Adobe Photoshop. The animation itself was done in Motion.

The score was produced in Logic Pro X. It was composed by me.

The story centres around a snail that has a tough day. People treat it like trash and he ends up breaking his shell. However, he still finds courage to keep on sailing down the river that is called life to then find himself crashed fully by a moving object.

My I

The actor in the cartoon is Nick Holland - my good friend.

I composed, recorded, and edited the soundtrack.

Painting on Glass animation was made using Phooshop, Illustrator and Final Cut Pro

The song was recorded, arranged, mixed and mastered in Logic Pro
